We are always amazed at how creative little ones can be. One of our beginning knitters needed a swing for her doll, and so as her first needle knitting project, she made one for her. But this swing is something more...it has turned into a baby sling, a hammock, and a bag.
- Large wood knitting needles
- Yarn in colors of choice we used wool in six different rainbow colors.
Cast on 8. Continue knitting, alternate yarn colors in equal length sections until desired length is achieved. Or simple make it as you like! And don't worry about mistakes, they make this project all the more unique and special!
The swing hangs by tying the ends.
Isn't imagination wonderful?
